Happy New Year! The end to one year and the beginning of a NEW season's journey .... where will our footstep find us? Both my husband and myself come into this year with excitement and hope despite knowing there will be sad days as well.

The close of last year hurdled by and I am thankful for digital camera's that have caught many a day that I can look back on and say - oh yes!

The fall days brought some transition footsteps that will mean a strong year ahead and also supportive friends encouraging the growth in building online business directions. We keep our life full, never saying no to an open door until we have pushed to see its direction. Life is a celebration and that is our theme for this coming year - Celebrate 2010!

My it has been a while since I have entered here, but it has been a wonderful time away anticiapting the summer months and getting ready for the arrival of my daughter and 2  grandson's for the summer arriving from Ireland. We had a special time and now as the days turn into weeks, the routine settles back to home, friends & family, networking, computers, business online. I enjoy it all.

Jim Rohn says: "You don't get paid for the hour; you get paid for the value you bring to the hour." and now it seems it is about the value we bring to this season in our lives.

Do you know of the Prayer of Jabez? He asks God to bless him, to enlarge his territory, that God's hand be near him keeping him from evil and not to cause pain. God heard his prayer and granted him his request. How wonderful to know, in this year particularly, where many are being tested that our integrity, honesty, trials and suffering matter to God.

I thank all of you for taking time out of your day to read this, to be encouraged knowing that even though I may not know you and we may never meet, this side of Heaven, I pray for you and your day.

Thank you to everyone for your lovely greetings in our "Guestbook", it is nice to read your comments.

Mom had a lovely party, the month of July brings joy, hugs and lot's of laughter as my daughter arrives from Ireland along with her 2 son's, ages 3 & 5 for "Summer in Canada". Sarnia is a town on the shores of Lake Huron and we have beautiful beaches, parks and lot's of fun things to do. I can hardly wait!

And, the month of July brings networking news with LocalAdLink arranging meetings in Detroit on the 23rd and then Toronto on the 25th, that will be a great time. Don and I have been Brand Builder Associates with LocalAdLink since February and they are a sincere, hard working visionary online company offering a complete online 24/7 accessible advertising platform for companies, web users, events. Interesting, last text was a month ago ..... hmm.

I have been reminded this month that my God is "gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness" Jonah 4:2

Somedays the struggle to stay in that "Grace & Mercy" is just that, a struggle and I have to remind myself to seek His face and walk from the anxiety all around - life is a journey, thank goodness!

This weekend, we celebrate a special day, my mom's 93rd birthday. I asked what would she like for her birthday and she said "a party!". Now, you have to know my mom - she is not your typical 93rd, younger than her years senior, she still drives, cooks 3 meals a day from scratch and helps whoever is in need when she is able. I am having a struggle finding enough '93 yr. old seniors to join her! But party time, cake and balloons coming Saturday ..........

June is a great business month as LocalAdLink and Bizzy Seas both launch this month, it is a good year for growth and exciting minds, check out "Unite Business Interests" tab. "If any of  you lack wisdon, he should ask God, who gives generously to all" James 1:5 I am so thankful that through life I have been able to test this truth because climbing uphill in age does something to the downhill memory bank. Have you every felt like that?

I am challenged daily because I have made a choice to fulfill my "DREAM", to work from home, to give back to others what life gives me and in that find God's "generosity". I ask hard!

I have found that I love networking, I love meeting people around the globe and send an ehug, I love reaching out and I love business - I am good at it, no I am great at it. Fortunately, teachers along life's path have been "generous".

Let's connect, let's be "generous" in the gifts from life and help this world be a better place. Social networking, business networking can take a positive step with helping hands.

INTRODUCTION:
Since Don and I have retired from our professional career years and our children and grandchildren do not live near us, we have extra hours in our day, Marilyn loves business while Don loves his sports - so guess who does the computer thing!

We live in Sarnia, Ontario - a lovely town on the shores of Lake Huron, one of Canada's great lakes. There are many beaches and boats to enjoy all summer. Now is a good time for walks under the bridge or in the parks as the spring flowers come into bloom and the animals are busy caring for their young.

This is my hometown, but Don enjoyed growing us as an MK in Northern Nigeria. He has many wonderful stories and a foundation of faith that together we share and rejoice in knowing our tomorrows are in His hands.

The internet for me is for meeting new friends and for business, I enjoy skype (marilyn.don) and I am beginning to know more about Twitter (friends2u) and Linkedin (MarilynR).

Social networking is on the rise, you will find that I will keep my blogs on business and what we do in that area, and to lift up and encourage every day in friendship.
